  Birthday gift for my brother who loved it but he has no idea the trouble that I had in getting it! Shame but the delivery and after sales service have ruined it for me. Devon Hampers use a company called DPD for their deliveries, and they charge you £7.95 and ask you to select a date for the delivery. My order was not delivered to me on the date I requested and paid for. I received a text on the day saying it would arrive between 1.36-2.36 but it didn’t. There was no attempt to contact me, no note left at my delivery address so I was left wondering where my package was. I called DPD and they couldn’t say why but would look in to it for me. In the mean time as this was a gift I drove to the nearest depo and collected it myself. The lady at DPD came back to me later on saying that they had problems with the driver who was delivering my item that day as he hadn’t delivered other items and all I was told is that he said my delivery was ‘refused’ by my delivery address which it wasn’t. I emailed Devon Hampers about my missing delivery and was told by Adam to liaise with DPD to arrange redelivery I replied explaining that I had picked the item up myself, explained the situation in full and requested that my delivery cost be refunded but it has now been a week and I have been ignored. Appreciate that it is the delivery company who are at fault but it is Devon Hampers who choose to use DPD for their deliveries and Devon Hampers that I paid for delivery. Wouldn’t order from them again. Shame
